Because (and partially what makes Kanye's statements so dangerous) is because there are slivers of truth weaved through out it. People will use these tiny openings to validate everything he's saying.

It’s the play action pass of right wing rhetoric. Say a few sensible things that sound informative, then add a bunch of bullshit following it.

Everyone is such pussies these days. No one can handle angry mobs of people on the internet and the fear of being canceled.

I don’t give a s*** if it was Kanye or someone else saying controversial things. I was pointing out how annoying it is people have to go on apology tours in 2022 due to fear.

I know we’re in a world where most of our society consumes media in 10 second clips, but when people talk for hours, there’s going to be things they get wrong. The benefit though is there’s lots of other great ideas being shared.

When you share your opinions at such a high rate, it’s likely someone will get offended. I rather people choose to be offended as long as it means we don’t shut down communication and everyone tries to perfect on podcasts.

why are you “rooting” for him exactly

Because in the midst of bullshitting around reaching for something to rap about he has successfully brought focus to the fact that you’re automatically a __ if you try to delve deeper into who controls urban media lol
