Shorts too. You should see Eggers work before he linked with him

Same guy shot Knock at the Cabin. He's one of the best out

Knock at the Cabin might be the best film he shot after Lighthouse

  • I am sooo into this omg

    Listen to that soundtrack

    Look at those setpieces

    Bless me Robert

Giving me Lighthouse vibes and I f***ing love that movie

It’s Dracula, so vampire horror. The original Nosferatu movie (from 100 years ago) was an unlicensed adaptation of Dracula, where they just changed the names.

so it’s supposed to be straight up horror??

I love that Eggers does period pieces. A lost art these days it seems like.

From what I’ve heard studios are very hesitant on period pieces nowadays because of how expensive the cost is to recreate set pieces plus costume.

Like all extras need accurate wardrobe if they can’t find enough extras who own old clothings themselves the production needs to provide it. Not to mention finding and renting the cars expensive af

And in the end, how many period pieces end up profitable? Of course directors on Eggers status can do whatever he wants
