I don't care what you think. Or what any other specific individual think. It's about the majority.

No point going back and forth about this anymore, it's very straightforward and anyone who was part of rap discussion back then knows.

The most quoted bar off that song outside of the hook was from Kendrick. Both on the internet and off. I was there I witnessed the response when it came on at parties and events…you were online discussing it, typing on a message board and created your life

Plenty of people disagree with that, and that’s okay

I rememeber getting into Kendrick because I asked a cousin I was close with who had the best verse on that song and he said Kendrick.

He isn’t even a Kendrick fan like that.

Two different arguments, but I remember there was a big debate about who got the best of who on that song fs

I witnessed the songs performance live, had a lot of discussion with rap and non-rap fans about it and I also saw the online reactions to it and the captions. His verse wasn't the most talked about nor the most loved part of the song.

Feel free to disagree and be wrong

So YOUR specific experience is worth more than anyone else’s?

I’ve seen that song performed live as well. I’ve had discussion with rap and non-rap fans about it as well. I’ve seen online reactions to it as well. Kendrick’s verse is usually the favorite in MY experience.

Who are you to say yours is more valuable than mine or anyone else’s?

And he witnessed this in UK and is making assumptions on how US reacted

It's like going to a random bar in US and soccer is on and I leave with a conclusion the world doesn't give a f*** about soccer

Zack doesn’t realize that his personal experience does not speak for the entire world. He’s kinda like people who think that the religion they grew up with is the only true religion and the rest of them are wrong

Ah right, I forgot that the US didn't have access to the internet in 2012, I forgot that twitter wasn't a thing back then, I forgot that IG didn't exist back then and I forgot that online rap discussion wasn't a thing back then

It was not as prevalent and widespread as it is now

Twitter was not the epicenter for rap discussion in 2012 like it is today

In 2012, the internet was still a place that you went to. It wasn’t ever-encompassing like it is today

How is my lived experience wrong? Lol I didn’t just hear the song at a concert I heard that s*** irl outside, I heard “I know you want this dih” repeatedly quoted around my high school, I’ve experienced the response to his verse during hotbox and smoke cyphers in college.

I never said there wasn’t a debate about who had the best verse rapping wise, but Kendrick has the most memorable lines on that record after the hook. Who do you think had the “most loved” or talked about verse on the song?

You witnessed what you witnessed, but I am just saying that it doesn't represent the feeling of the majority of people, and it's the majority who got it to diamond-status

But in the end it's just my experience vs your experience so no point going back and forth about it as no one can provide conclusive evidence. I just know that I am correct, hence why I said. But people are allowed to disagree
