The only thing he’s released post damn is the black panther album and that’s just a soundtrack so I don’t see your point you can’t say he doesn’t sound as inspired if he hasn’t actually officially released anything but a soundtrack lol

The black panther album sounded very commerical. (obviously)
The SZA was the most successful track off it for a reason.

It was commercial because it was for one of the biggest marvel movies ever at the time and Kendrick is only on like 5 of 14 songs on the album so you barely even call it a Kendrick album lol
