Stop gate keeping. That mentality has ruined this site and lead to its spectacular downfall in usage

Hip-Hop peaked in the early 2010s if we being real (Early Big 3 projects, Early Future and eventually early Thug, MBDTF/Throne/Yeezus, Young Money, Good Music, MMG, Jet Life, A$AP, OFWGKTA, & a dozen other dope rappers and collectives all hitting their strides at the same time, plus old legends like Hov and Nas still way more active than they are now)

Hip-Hop has been struggling to be impactful ever since Kanye got old and crazy and the big 3 left their competition in the dust and got complacent

I think it’s on life support tbh, these kids don’t even know how to channel the s*** no more

Kinda a different concept. Openly supporting terrorism vs thinking people who recently joined the site are equally valued to established members

Of course it will be the kanye west domination era again! Vultures 2 & 3 coming soon

  • Jul 12, 2024

More focus towards lyrics again and kids actually trying to find interesting rap artists with good bit of lyricism.

His user name is ironic and hes a known member that most know

Hes in politics sxn heavy slanging paragraphs

"Big/Huge _ Fan/Stan" is an inside joke used here and means the opposite

But yes i do agree overall with you and there has been users banned that are seriously with Israel in loud ways, the contrast was just funny one after another

I knew hip hop was on a downward trajectory once the SoundCloud era began with all them d***ged out loser rappers.

now that i sent my d*** to your mom's shadow realm, where do you see her going from here

Without drake? I see Hip Hop prospering

People will stop sounding the same. Dude had game deadlocked on the same continous loop of bullshit for like a decade.

  • Jul 12, 2024

I made a thread on this a few weeks ago but I think it'll be optimistic. We'll definitely see a rise of individuality and creativity again

I think we cycled back to the early 80's. Producers are the tastemakers and are carrying rappers today. Rappers or MCs are easily replaceable due to Tik Tok letting any hard beat carry any bars.

We need a new rap super group to push off the 20's. A new rat pack.

There will be more Kendrick, drake, and Cole to come for hip hop

  • Jul 12, 2024

    Real rap doesn't need drake
