Maybe I'm naive but I would say that only a small portion of Trump voters are seriously racist. I think it's been more about his overall persona and the way he wants to "fight the establishment". People were tired of smugly fake-ass politicians who act like puppets. I know that racists will support Trump, but I have faith that not half the country is consisting of racists and borderline Nazis. Kanye could pick up where Trump left off tbh. Him promoting his Trump support could make lots of Trump voters support him so that they have a minimal chance of Trump's work being continued.

The thing is that the fulfillment rate of made promises by presidential candidates has been terrible throughout history and political restrictions make it very difficult at times. I would say Trump's fulfillment rate is relatively high in comparison to others. There are some promises that Trump couldn't fulfill but he worked his ass off to do so. In the end he was successfully blocked, I mean the president is still far from a despot.

I'm really not sure how far Kanye can go. Personally, I just want him to stay away from that crazy s***.
