The "beeps clanks" are from an old 70s tech foreign record that is really obscured.

They just filtered, layered & chopped it a bit with a few little things added on. Also interpolate the bassline with modern subs.

Listen from 45 secs to about 1:20+, this is the record

Push has mentioned it before too.

The layering & filtering is how it sounds more modern than the raw record.

ahhh right, so I imagine Ye had a bunch of producers try to flip the sample and Dom did the filtering/layering/chopping best

Yeee, from what i remember Ye found the record & had the idea for it to be something & floated it around, then Dom got the record during Push sessions & turned it mostly into what it is now.

Kanye dug a s*** ton of "weird" records for the King Push album that evolved from MNIMN up into Daytona, cuz king push was originally suppose to be some hard af "weirdo" electro street beats mixed with soul kinda like an extention of yeezus.

Thats how ish like Lunch Money, the song with Jay Z, crutches crosses caskets n what not that came up, & some of the records on MNIMN, Prelude & Daytona. Just that the actual album "King Push" itself never fully materialized but was instead fractured into a bunch of side projects, giveaway features & loosie songs.

Kanye did the digging & the overall idea while other producers for the most part finalized the actual beats/songs.

in many ways he took the spirit of the intended King Push production style through to DAYTONA except the vessel was something Ye was more comfortable with in soul samples instead

Exactly. I still wish King Push happened, as a Pusha fan it was teased since Wrath of Caine up until Daytona when he finally admitted it basically happened but was cut up with Daytona havung the last remnants mixed in.

Think it would have been simultaneously one of the most experimental & hard AF Rap records of all time.

Still got three great projects for the price of one tho

Yuuuup, exactly! Couldnt think of the name for that one but it def is.

S*** would have been such a cool landmark for Rap production & Rap experimentation if KP fully released. And the way he flows so tough and effortlessly over these kind of unique & unorthodox beats are crazy too.

There's even more loosies, album cuts & feature giveaways out there that are pieces of KP's whole. Even unreleased tracks like Sociopath which is rumored to be from KP's but reworked into Daytona with a Kash Doll feat. before getting fully axed. Those "clank " & "ping" type snares n hats are also a big giveaway for King Push style tracks.

There's a reason why Pusha T is one of my top fav Rappers of all time.

And he's way more creative & much more of a visonary in music then some people give him credit for, but those in the industry & those that really know Rap know this

    IYKYK

That one isnt confirmed but rumored to be since its production style fits a lot of what his loosies are.

S*** would have been the most maximalist s*** & minimalist s*** at the same time with tracks like King Push, Lunch Money, NOTB, HGTV, Sociopath etc.

just imagine if king push had those tracks along with santeria, crutches crosses caskets, DDA, and IYKYK

would’ve been top 10 of the decade
