Yes lawd is paak's best album, the production is so beautifully consistent (something missing from most projects these days) and paak brings something totally different but beautifully soulful to every song on the album.

The songwriting on this is far superior to even his malibu work. My personal preference is hearing him sing rather than rap his way through soulful instrumentation. I think that was the major flaw in his two aftermath albums

I can't wait to hear what they've done this time, because knxwledge has only grown into himself as a producer, I hope paak can hold onto that raw creativity they shared on the first album

Yes Lawd is his best but you not gonna sit here and listen to songs like The Bird, Carry Me, Heart Won't Stand A Chance and say Malibu aint right there with it.

Malibu one of the best debuts we've had in YEARS.

    Absolutely

EDIT: Parking Lot is genuinely one of the best songs I've ever heard. Cannot believe that album exists sometimes

Makes me personally really interested to know what a solo paak album will sound like in the next few years, doubt it'll be anything like the last few, but it will definitely have been a while since ventura
