no, i don't think he does really, but i do think where the discussion lies from him vs (most) others is different. democrats have been obsessed way more over race for sure but by comparison they've been obsessed from a very specific angle, which is less ""exclusionary"" for lack of a better term and more like ""narrowly inclusive"".
for example, democrat ideas are definitely half cop-outs and more rhetorically aligned to things like "we need to give more resources to x race". they've been careful (for the most part) not to appear exclusionary of whites but align whites as allies to some abstract cause of raising up "black and brown communities". its obviously performative non-sense. like yeah there's ""CRT and DEI"" but those are crudely broad concepts not specific really to the DNC
by comparison, i think this guy is really one of the only (notable) politicians ive seen in my lifetime who explicitly has said stuff like "we need to tax white neighborhoods more" as opposed to the party line of "we need to raise taxes to help minority communities" (even if functionally the same due to class/race intersection). looking at this twitter history he definitely has been openly annoyed with whites. i'm not casting judgement per-se on him as a candidate it's just surprising because i can't imagine even someone ""radical"" like omar or tlaib saying that
yea i see what you’re saying. his old tweets definitely frame it that way and that once policy about the white neighborhoods as well, but from his public speaking during his campaign it feels like he’s steered clear of that a bit. i’m not in the weeds on it necessarily so i could be wrong but I see what you’re saying for sure.
Damn.
Looks like older Black voters and Italians are politically aligned against Zohran.
Kinda ironic.

I dont think he actually said tax white prople more he meant shifting the tax burden which was helping white people more
This is because he was trying to make inroads in black neighborhoods which didnt support him as much.
Ended up working for him
This was one of the most racialized campaigns ive ever seen from all sides
Zohran won cause he actually broke through with something other than race but it also helped him too
Damn.

partially also has to do with where you get your political info and outreach
like the dem machine establishment often partners w black churches and has a history of that etc
What's happening now that has you yelling?
Just the concept that a fresh “left leaning” candidate was able to run a remarkable and inspiring campaign and they would rather remain with the status quo. Dems are a loser party it’s like their ideology I’m convinced. Say what you want about republicans but they’ll push to get their s*** done
feels like the rent board / eric adams approving an increase is to punish voters and get a lick in beforehand but if anything it just made mamdani winning the general election even more of a probability

Trump complimenting Adams and threatening to arrest Zohran is great for him to win

https://twitter.com/lllliatttt/status/1940193691576270895you're talking about the mayor of nightlife bro. he hangs out with the boys at nights and gets up with the men in the morning. he got the Ottoman Empire behind him. I'd like to see zohran try to topple that.

dont get me wrong i know america is a deeply racist country but im not quite sure if i've ever seen american broadcasters, pundits and politicians be so openly racist in my lifetime
im assuming post 9/11 and the iraq war is the only time that exceeds this when i've been alive
