at least one of the trilogies put forth some effort, while most of the Disney era is pretty much cash grab after cash grab

Lucas was a s***ty director, but you can point out in the prequels where effort and creativity was shown. There's some inspiring stuff across the 3 prequels. And the choreography is light years ahead of the sloppiness we keep getting from Disney

If you Google or YouTube the most badass lightsaber duels or just combat scenes in general, you won't see anything from Disney near the top. It's all moments from the prequels or OG.

Mostly everything Disney's had control over just ends up looking so phony.

Ray park put more time and effort into making maul badass as f*** than everyone's effort combined in this obi wan series. Everyone's just winging it.

Aside from some mando episodes, all of the d+ star wars content is just one lazy and uninspiring performance after another.

Just saw a trailer for yet another star wars show the other day and they not even through with this one they milking the s*** outta the name brand lmao it's no wonder the writing is so rushed and lazy

outside of actor paychecks, im not sure they spent more than 5 million on this show.

Disney think people hate prequels
So what they did is they took everything from OT and nothing from prequels
So if you take lightsaber fights and choreography for example youll see that disney tries to recreate OT and never PT
Same goes for cities, aliens, costumes and so on

The main point is people love OT and hate PT so obviously OT style and direction will sell more

Episode 4 was aite bit of corny acting on 3rd sister’s part but idk what I expected at this point. Enjoyed the episode nevertheless hope that second season rumor is true. Cause feel like it is going too slow plot wise to end in 2 episodes.

The meme helped the prequel trilogy for sure

But the first 2 have some great moments amongst the trash, and I legit f***ed with episode 3, which is more than I can say for any of these Disney sequels

The snow fight in tfa is pretty good to. Imo the perfect mix of og trilogy and prequel trilogy style fighting. Ppl are def way too critical on the sequel trilogies fights

Creativity doesn't mean s*** if i don't wanna watch the movie ever again. The pt lore is cool and all, it would be nice if the next trilogy is anywhere near as lore heavy as the pt but it does not make the movies any better, if anything it just makes them more disappointing
