The point of this show was to make kids like leia and her droid to sell toys

Thats all disney cares about

i understand why people were getting excited and getting their hopes up

but these streaming shows are almost 90% of the time dogshit in quality. like you said, it was a marketing tactic saying hayden was heavily involved. hayden is non-existent, and the obi-wan character is being done a disservice just like boba fett was in the last series.

these star wars shows, along with the marvel stuff, is just being crapped out in quantity so they keep people subscribed to disney plus or they get new subscribers. nothing more, their is no real passion or effort behind any of this s***. they dont care about delivering a truly good product to the fans

yeah, the magnitude of these characters is legit being treated like disney+ promotion and nothing more.

we kept hearing about how much money they spent on it, and what we have so far is obi-wan playing babysitter. this whole leia storyline should have been wrapped up 2 episodes ago. this should not be a major storyline throughout the series.

just think about it, with all of the hype, they announced its a LIMITED series. 6 episodes. and this is the best s*** they came up with.

What’s the lore behind light sabers? is it a jewl that gets them to work?

Always thought what if someone had light saber pocket blade or throwing knives but idk if light sabers are just technology or there’s lore behind it

I’m admittedly not the biggest Star Wars fan. What weapons did they have in there?

You have to go track down Khyber crystals or something and the good ones were always hidden behind gnarly bosses you were able to mix and match to customize your sabers with different strengths and colors and stuff depending on the crystal combination. I have no idea if this became canon tho.

Would be interesting to see a series about the inventor of the lightsaber. Would he be a blacksmith or tech guy? Maybe it’s 2 people one of each. Blacksmith could be a sword specialist like Will Turner from Pirates of the Caribbean who makes swords and practices with them

Antagonist would have to somehow get his hands on a saber so we could get some cool fights

Coolest thing about Star Wars is easily the lightsabers, sword fights >>> gun fights. George Lucas found a way to make swords stronger than a gun since it can reflect shots

I could care less about the Jedi vs sith thing

They could also do a gladiator inspired series. Maybe Jabba was running an underground fight club with prisoners he had. Could get some cool lightsaber fights from that also could see some of the monsters in the Star Wars universe like that giant worm thing Jabba had

One of the old Lego Star Wars games had side missions where Boba Fett would go on bounty hunting quests for Jabba with a group of other bounty hunters. Thought that’s what the show would kinda be
