So George selling to Disney they acquired his 7/8/9 script treatments but obviously deviated from them greatly
But he always had spin off movies in mind even back in the 70s, saying he’d love if directors came in making movies about totally unconnected characters
And he had treatments for potential spin off movies that also got acquired by Disney
Disney should open those and see if there’s any gold in there
Imagine if they announced a Star Wars spin off with a fire director, great writer and a script concept/writing credit by Lucas

Yep. Star Wars: Underworld which was meant to be set between Episodes III and IV and would focus on characters/situations revolving around Boba Fett, Han and Chewie first meeting, Palpatine, Vader quelling a rebellion in the lower levels of Coruscant, etc. There’s test footage from 2010 out there but I’m not sure any actual episodes were made or actors casted
Obviously very rough but definitely precursoring The Volume tech they have now

So George was the OG creator of the entire cinematic universe concept that’s so wildly popular today?
I actually like the sequels but I’d love to live in a world where we also got George’s versions
