aglowOk fair, but it still doesn't make any sense because we know from "Revenge of the Sith" that it was Palpatine/The Emperor the one behind the conception of Vader.
I don't think any of that stuff was written in the 70s though fam. It wasn't even until like Darth Maul came along that they decided Darth was a title not a name.
