He's a new age electronic artist who has been making music since 1995 and STILL RELEASES STUFF TODAY

t2 album is a stone cold classic

one of my favorite album is happysad by rodney allen, songwriter type dude

rodney allen was only 16yo in 1986 when he was doing some gigs at bar when a manager of a label saw him one night and signed him right away

rodney allen then recorded happysad in what is most likely one session, it’s just him and his guitar, you’ll hear some shy saxo notes at some point but that’s about as far as it went, wether it was related to budget or not, the songs are short enough and with melodies to hook you, rodney is incredibly charming through his songwriting and really good for a 16yo.

theres barely anything to find bout it all im telling you is all there’s so dig through google, there will be a total of five results, and half of them are blogs articles about his new shows he just did last year, because yes he finally did some shows in 2019 for the first time lol, don’t think it’s stadium happy ending it was local show for like what seems, at least look or sound to be about 20 ppl max

because yes unfortunately his album didn’t take off (it was an indie local label anyway), he did do well afterwards by joining blue areoplanes but only as a guitarist gig unfortunately and was never used for his singing or songwriting skills there

the album only had one original vinyl pressing and remains to this day as such, therefor the only audio you’ll find or vinyl recordings, but it adds an aura to the myth and the songs.

i love to push this record because it’s my tresor i like to keep for myself, my favorite album no one knows about
