As a diehard Em stan of his classic albums: He lost it after or since Relapse man.

Don't know what happened to him, he just seems to repeat the same strategy ever since and none of it feels as raw, witty, urgent and creative as prime Em.

Nobody that has SSLP/MMLP when they came out thinks this. Very few artists have ever gone from genius master to utter garbage as quickly as Em did in '04. Sense of humor that made every song a classic on this first 3 albums f***ing evaporated.

I understand that if you were in middle school when Recovery or whatever came out have a different perspective but I'm old head.

Besides MMLP2, I think Kamikaze, Tdoss and MTBMB are good albums. And I grew up on Em.

But NAS is the most consistent one
