    Oblivion X

    No thriller ?

Got some great singles but too many misses on there for me personally. Momentum of Wanna Be StartinSomethin is kinda slowed down by Human Nature for example. But Dangerous and Off the Wall are perfectly paced imo

I think Thriller is his best

Off the Wall is actually my least fav of his "big 4".

  • Nov 2, 2020

OtW for sure, Dangerous ehhh kinda long

    Bad tho

  • Nov 2, 2020

you cant imagine how much it motivates me that MJ was 6 years deep into his career when he made Off The Wall. it's like everything is possible if you stay on the grind, regardless of your age

  • Nov 2, 2020

The 1-6 song stretch of Dangerous hits so f***in hard

HIStory the deepest and most personal.

OTW has my favorite MJ song, I'll give you that and is a great album.

  • Nov 2, 2020

  • Nov 2, 2020

I mean I like it, all I said was it messes with the momentum generated by the first track, whereas look at Off the Wall that’s hype from start to finish

    Goo

    Not necessarily a bad thing.

You’re right but in terms of the cohesion of an MJ album I personally think Off the Wall and Dangerous succeed more in that regard

I mean it doesn't have some distinct structure it was 9 incredible songs from the soon to be biggest artist ever... Off The Wall is a dance/disco album so it made more sense that way
