This makes me think URL is gonna come back to youtube eventually tho. They’re probably gonna use Caffeine as their ppv platform and a way to funnel app subscriptions while also dropping battles on youtube to promote the brand and battlers.

URL not posting battles on youtube was a terrible business move. they really boxed themselves in.

It was cool when they didn’t have much comp moving at the time. Caffeine helped them corner the market, build capital and create a backlog of battles for their app. I always wondered how caffeine made money because it look like Smack just took that s*** over and I can’t imagine the average battle rap fan buying those bits or whatever.
