the pandemic era of battle rap was one of its best eras fr. events on caffeine for free, no big crowds so niggas could actually just rap instead of looking for reactions and getting stopped by the crowd 2-3 bars into whatever scheme they're doing, more intimate settings which gave a similar feel to battles that were on dvds back in the day, classics such as daylyt vs tay roc, twork vs nitty (even though it got f***ed up) etc. i really do miss that era man
