This is gonna age terribly when my VIX calls pay off exponentially
So I don't want to get into Litecoin, but I do want to understand why y'all consider it a s***coin so I can be able to identify other projects to stay away from.
It marketed itself as silver to Bitcoin being gold, and that attachment helped it grow to what it became. But in recent times, the asset itself hasn't paced with BTC/ETH.
The benefits that LTC propped itself on was that it transferred faster than BTC, and had less fees. But now in 2021, transfers are already quicker and fees lower so the use case isn't there. Also there are other projects that transfer even quicker.
On top of this, the creator sold all of his holdings at an ATH, stating it was to remove "conflicts of interest" as he speaks about crypto on social media, but yet still works at the Litecoin Foundation, creating the perception that it was an exit scam.
Do I got it?

Trading stocks/crypto is literally the worst feeling
Always filled with regret of not buying or not putting in more money

yeah Cryptocurrency does so much more than just store monetary value, you can make stuff out of Gold and Silver ofc but it's mainly seen as a store of value like Bitcoin
but that's why we don't need a digital Silver anymore that is cheaper and lighter weight cause we already have ETH, DOT, XLM and ADA
they all have goals that would make for a much better experience than LTC and they already have plans and developers shaping that
it's a s***coin cause there is no reason for it to exist anymore.. when everything starts to pump it will probably pump hard also but I don't foresee it doing as many % as most other projects
