i invest in coins (there are million other crypto-currencies) with promising technologies and just hold without selling as a long-term “investment”

almost all coins I got in my portfolio ive bought 3 years ago, just re-arranged them a few times (sold the coins with bad performance and bought more of the good ones with it)
