whole electric car industry is a giant f***ing bubble waiting to explode rn. Look how overpriced NKLA and SHLL are. Can't wait for all these companies who don't even have a proven production track record to get f***ed once valuation stops being so heavy on pontential

    Yep

even if they get the tesla tech they will always be 1 step behind them because they don't develope it

as will everyone for now be 1 step behind or even more

but now I am seeing that they are the #1 car company in the wold by market cap and really exciting stuff is to come so it will get even harder to catch up

Makes no sense tbh. I know the whole point of the "market" is to predict down the road, but tesla's revenue is a fraction of a Toyota's. Got mfs talm bout an "ev bubble"

I started out with individual stocks, but everything I've been reading/listening to lately says if you're not a day trader, stick to indexes and etf's

Yea that’s what I’m gathering as well. I’m probably just gonna purchase SP500 index funds monthly and stick with it for the next year or so.

I got some in my Roth. I like VOO for the S&P

My favorites right now are ARKK and QQQ. Got some positions in back in March. Up a good chunk now.

ARKK has heavy weight on Tesla and QQQ is heavily weighted on the tech sector so it has the likes of FAANG and Microsoft.

VSLR is being bought by RUN. According to the acquisition, ill get .55 shares of RUN for every share of VSLR I own. Their prices are pretty close now, should I sell off my VSLR before the merger is complete?
