Yeah I hear that - makes sense.. I've heard the horror stories of 2017 where people were making anything and everything with others getting burned heavy in the process.

I mostly look at:

• My gut feel on a project's use case and therefore potential growth in adoption
• What are unique selling points of the project
• Collaborations and their actual inputs to the project
• Current market cap and compare to similar projects if any with higher cap for realistic growth expectations
• Tokenomics
• Community size and type of following (Telegram, Twitter / moon boys vs. People genuinely interested in project)

man you're spot on, the colleague in question is also a newb so I doubt he had ill intentions, however, I been seeing lots of people in my direct environment actually making bank with crypto in general, 2 years ago I even had a fintech class at my uni where I was almost inspired to start, with the wallet roadblock out of the way I'll just go ahead and dive in it

Thoughts on this project

although the idea is one that is suited for blockchain and will be big in the future, this looks to be a 2017 ICO bubble type of project

i would only trust a project with good VCs to do anything in healthcare and these guys don't have that at all

token might pump etc i dont have time to look into it more. these are the types of projects i don't really like as it gives off amateur vibes
