Set up an account on coinbase or something similar where u can buy btc or Eth to start.

Read up on both Bitcoin & ethereum, you’ll get a good overview.

Most other crypto’s are a variation of one or the other, e.g. bitcoin forks, litecoin, monero & smart contract platforms competing with ethereum eg polkadot, cosmos etc.

Or a decentralised application built on top of a platform like something for loans - Aave, cross chain swaps - Ren. The list of potential apps is huge. Keep in mind, a lot of them don’t have good use cases for their tokens so it’s good to distinguish the importance of the token & what role it plays in the ecosystem. There’s a lot more to it but yeah.

If u do get interested in smaller projects - coingecko.com/en is a good place to see all relevant info. Learn about circulating supply, vs total, & market cap is most important- how high the coin is currently valued.
