Meh a lot of “good” alts will drop 90-99% whenever it happens
They may or may not recover, most alts still not even at 2017 ath and even worse when comparing to btc
I would be most comfortable with eth but it would still suck and take years to recover in a bear mkt
But if eth dropped 80% or so, I would go in heavily and stake it I think to get some interest
Sounds like he was referring to coins like Doge and SafeMoon plus if you’re playing the long game a bear market is just a buying opportunity
You don’t know how things are gonna play out, plenty of projects are fine after the last bear market with actual use case
Assuming institutional money keeps pouring in, it’s safe to predict that a bear market won’t be as drastic as last time
We’re in a new market with differing variables from the last, I don’t think anyone can really predict what’s going to happen
Link, Snx, Aave all went up 100x+ in a bear market doubt they'd hold up that well now that they're larger but stuff can go up in a bear market if the project has actual use cases
Mkr dipped but held up better than Btc & Eth, other popular projects could do similar again.. fall with Btc/Eth but recover a lot faster
if your buying Tron, Safe moon, Litecoin, Doge and all the other popular s***coins your going to lose 97%+ tho
I was having all kinds of similar issues until I turned UPNP off
according to the Dev the software gets confused and can't find more than one Node at a time
I think that is accurate, yeah as long as the keys/seed is the same it should be the same wallet
you can look up your address on chia explorer
ok yeah it's updated to showing it on both now after doing that, updating, and rebooting.
Nice I really won, we're going to make it.
I’m nervous I will only have money to buy 2 lambos and not 4

I’m glad I’m risk adverse, I’d rather have small gains and keep what I have than take big risks

you definitely could get wrecked if Eth dumps and we enter a bear market I personally believe that's a while off tho but long term projects with use cases will bounce back better
the smaller projects that gain a lot of users during the bear market are the ones that will go 100x
if you look at most the stuff that pumped in 2017-18 and haven't reached a new high yet
they had a narrative about fast transactions and other s*** that doesn't matter because the projects are compromised by not achieving these goals in a decentralized manner or they didn't have a usable user interface.. some cryptos were even designed to be centralized but they were too early or poorly executed and others claimed to be decentralized but aren't
the larger crypto space recognizes this now and only normies care about these projects if people still do, so it's not surprising most them never recovered
the Ethereum / Bitcoin price just broke a new high for the year
the last time Ethereum costed this much against Bitcoin was September 10th 2018
Chia 1.1 is out
https://github.com/Chia-Network/chia-blockchain/releases/tag/1.1.0
just in time for the new plotters
Ethereum's biggest breakout feels so close and we're talking about a bear market

I only have like 1 eth to use for transactions but that’s like .02 of my profolio , eth is just fuel to me rather than a asset I’m invested in or a currency I believe in
Half is btc and the other half projects with a use case I believe in as a business like bat and mana

Raoul Pal is one of my fav mETH heads
