I'm plotting 8 at a time now but I've been trying to f*** around with the timing to optimize it. If I start 8 at once, one of the plots always ends up failing.
Tried to run 4, and then another 4 when it got to 50%. Whole GUI was crashed and spinning on "connect to wallet", when I woke up.
Then had issues again where only one of my nodes would sync at a time, and I couldn't get the new PC to connect to peers.
Also dealing with learning linux/ubuntu through this.
But now I think I have the OS down and everythings stable and connected. Have 8 different queues set, each started about an hour apart. Lowered the max ram on the final 2 slightly, looks like smooth sailing.
Estimated time to win is tough rn tho
hopefully now that I'm fully goin I can get another W by next Thursday.yeah it can be a pain to get it all sorted out, I usually start 1 at a time per NVMe I've been running the plotting NVMes not filled all the way tho
yeah unfortunately it's not really setup for running multiple nodes on one IP address, I usually just point the nodes at each other and I have my main node port forwarded

got a link to a report on it? Not surprising though, tech industry and design thinking/innovation fields have serious problems when it comes to race. There's been a lot of outward facing PR statements but internally it's often a s***show. I remember reading an article about how the indian caste system was affecting some workers access to jobs in silicon valley.

I didn’t read NYT so I don’t know how correct or false it is, my gf is black and works in tech and is part of a group for black women in tech and a lot of the Coinbase employees shared their stories in the group about it

Do you disable bitfield plotting?
Man I've been disabling it because this said if you're using SSD than it'd be faster disabled, but I'm looking at my plots and the bitfield plots are going way faster. The guide was from Februrary so I guess they've sped up the bitfield since.
