yeah it's def worth it imo obviously the more space you add the better if you added an external 4-12tb HDD it could help you win more often

you probably aren't going to win for months and months but I remember when there was a point where you could only earn 1 ETH every few months mining on a cheap GPU

if you wait long enough that single Chia could be worth a lot

I'm hoping that once the official listings are up with liquidity provided directly from Chia that will offer some time for people to buy in cause buying it under $40 a Chia would be a good deal, probably a better deal than sinking any money into farming

the Chia team was thinking it would go up for $10 once they added liquidity like a month ago but now they aren't even talking about the price or anything I think they're shocked by how fast it grew though and aren't sure themselves

I struggled with farming last couple months, didn’t get any because of my job, but was just in the zoom call with the team when it launched. Chia team is cool. it's hard to know at the moment if farming is the move cause there aren't any official listings or prices

I would wait for official listings though yeah these current IOUs have no liquidity

I'm actually trying to buy 3k worth if it comes on sale for a fair price

usually on coin launches there is low liquidity on launch prices get too high then liquidity floods the market there is a dump and then it rebuilds over a few weeks or months then pumps again

obviously I have no idea if that's how it will go though just an educated guess

I will probably still buy a NAS pretty soon (because it’s nice in the long run too, even beyond Chia (if Chia wouldn’t be worth it)). So I’ll try to farm a bit, depending on the calculations I make for the energy consumption. It’s insane how much the Network Size increased since you first put me on! Sheeesh.

I’m hoping Chia hits 100$ or so. I’ll try to cop too then. Tbh, I just wanna buy on Coinbase or Binance because I don’t trust these random exchanges with my personal ID info and all that (from a privacy/cyber sec perspective).
