I've been buying used SAS 6TB drives at $80 now, larger sizes are hard to find in bulk and SATA drives are super overpriced used now

yeah new budget stuff is all sold out just the more expensive stuff is in stock

ordered the Node 804 it fits 11 drives going to create a Linux NAS

trying to fill all these TB before June I have 256TB total now 800 plotted

Nice I have about 100 TB of externals right now, gonna pass 200 plots tonight. At my rate it's going to take til mid june to fill these, about 20 a day rn. Might look to speed that up soon, but first I have to figure out what I'm going to do with this 36 bay superchassis.

USB is a little slower but I'm using some USB stuff, most the time is the plotting on the NVMe drives so it's not a huge difference
