Guys, I'm thinking about quiting my full time job in about 6 months by using my investing budget to go into my savings. I almost got a years worth of expenses to cover for me when I leave and try to do free Lance work.

Anyone have any strategies or gameplans they've researched before that deals with working only a certain amount of money already already invested?

I’ve never done free lance but in my opinion it would be smart to try to have at least a part time job to keep money flowing in if times get slow.

When my dad started his business and left his job he deliverered newspapers every night to help fund the biz/have side income until the business was stable enough to support our family. Obviously you’re a lot younger but I think the idea still applies. You’ll run into hard times you need to power through and I’m not sure within 1 year it’ll be all roses.

Yeah I know that for sure. I've accepted that this route is stressful, but I'll enjoy the process with what I do vs already being stressed at my current job.

The one year safety net is just a safety net. I'll cover my ass for insurance, car payments, and other costs with the year savings.
I do have a 1k a month income stream with this part time job I've kept from college.

Is there any sources or people I should look at for dealing with the investment money I already have in stocks and crypto? I was thinking of moving and exchanging my stocks into etfs and index funds, and all my coins to eth and bitcoin for the long haul next year.
