i got a question tho. lets say i moved my crypto from an exchange to a wallet after i bought it, do i have to report it in my taxes even if i dont sell it?

nah you only pay taxes when you sell or swap for another token

so i have another question in that case, if i hold crypto for over a year does that free me from taxes like some stocks, or do i have to file either way? another question i had real trouble finding answers for is that i moved some other crypto from my american coinbase account to another exchange where my account is under my european id, in which country would i have to (i probably wont at all tho) report it ? on the european account theres a 47% tax on crypto in that country which i will sure as f*** not pay 🖕🏽

yes but holding a year only frees you from tax for the first 50k, it always has to be reported even though you don't pay any taxes and that's only federal tax, you still have state taxes

I think looking at larger numbers, such as 50k, 60k, and previous aths has a little bit short term importance, but thats it

The main things I follow really are the 20 week MA to see if we will continue the bull run or not and the 200 week MA to find the cycle bottom

Next month or so should determine if this cycle continues up or down. Even in 2017/2018, we had 5 straight weeks of green after falling hard, so its hard to know

yeah true September is usually a bad month for Crypto though wouldn't be shocked if we cooled down and went sideways before going up only again

I use resistance numbers just for swing trading and to map out where I think prices could go, I find it pretty reliable for that but it's not really that useful for much more

I don't use the 20 week MA really even tho I'm aware of it.. I find a lot of those numbers to be lagging a bit even though they have a good track record but I do buy under the 200 week MA a lot more when we get there
