    How do yall do research

you need an alpha generating framework, this can be

    fundamental a***ysis
    technical a***ysis
    memes
    community
    whatever

some frameworks are better than others and much is situation dependent and much is interrelated. read more here: twitter.com/lightcrypto/status/1393386453246353408

when looking into a project u should ask

is it solving a problem in a big market?
    is it a novel idea?
is the token needed in the first place?
can i actually see a good ROI given the current price/market cap?

also consider market cap, volume, total supply, circulating supply, inflation/operations model, team credentials, competitors, exchanges it trades on, roadmap, vision for the future etc

and, is it actually being used currently? does it have an active community? not just people trying to pump their bags

    also this is entirely individual but a tip could be to start at the end of the pool with which you have experience;

if you've worked in sports betting start looking at crypto projects in that space

if you've worked in advertising start looking at crypto projects in that space

if you've worked in gaming start look at crypto projects in that space

having zero finance experience and jumping straight into defi protocols trying to learn about yield staking lending farming slippage bonding curves and collateral can be overwhelming and boring - though a rudimentary understanding of btc and eth is essential

What AVAX s*** are you most invested in rn. I got some spare wavax atm

So my main 2 avax holdings are $Lyd & $EVRT but I'm mainly bullish on $EVRT. I'll go in depth.

EverestDAO(evrt) is the only Options trading platform on the Avalanche ecosystem atm. Alot of people aren't familiar with options trading(I myself go into it over the last month) but it's going to takeoff.

Essentially, Options Trading is Betting. You are betting on the Future outcome. Here's a example that actually relevant to you since your a wavax holder.

The current actual price of wavax as I type this is $57.55. Now, their currently a Live Option open for Wavax. The price of wavax in the Option(bet) is $55 even. You are betting on weather you believe the price will stay or rise above the Option price(more commonly referred to as the STRIKE PRICE) or if you believe that it'll fall below the Option Price. A call= you are betting on it rising, a PUT means your betting on it falling below. Theirs also a nuisance approach to the whole thing, but essentially, if you are correct in your call Option and the price rides above the strike price, you get a payout similar to when you sports bet and you win. Some Options might have a payout of 1x which is Essentially you double what you put in and their Some where the payout can be 5.35x what you put in.

In this video, he's talking about btc options trading but it's essentially the same as far as how he explains calls and puts. 1 of the reasons I'm bullish on evrt is their options layout which is alot more simplistic for people new to options trading compared to some options platforms that use the matchbook layout(similar to kucoin)
    everestoptions.net

Now why I'm bullish is cause 1. The evrt team is involved in the avax rush thing coming up which means avalanche themselves recognize evrt platform and usecase(thus investing into them) 2. They will be adding 2 new dapps in the next month or so. What they will be, idk. 1 cam speculate, but what these 2 dapps will do will bring 2 completely different use cases outside of options trading which will bring buncha people in. Most platforms start out with a Dex off rip but the fact they rolled the options feature out 1st intrigues me. & 3rd, the marketcap. The market atm is still under $750k I believe and this is a options trading platform. For comparison, look up Hegic. Hegic is on Ethereum, don't look at the price, look at its marketcap which is $95,467,001. Not saying we're gonna hit 95mil, but I'm comparison, realize evrt had only been live for not even a full month now.

I typed alot but $lyd & $ EVRT 👌🏿. & $xava is a good 1 aswell and it's a launchpad so holding xava gives you access to participate in IDOs
