Avax went up. Is there any point in selling? If it's gonna go higher later, isn't it better to just wait for it to dip again, buy more, and then have I go up again? Unless it goes lower than what you initially bought it at.
I'm just using avax as an example here but I'm trying to understand the general idea behind why you would sell during a pump

Sell then when it goes down buy again. This way you can get more, or reimburse your initial investment, or even take profits. Most people sell just a bit when it pumps, then if it dumps buy back.
They're basically betting it goes down again if they sell.
