it's technology not a god/satan or a magic solution to poverty

crypto is just a ledger with many different uses, it becomes whatever the creator of the smart contract intends there isn't some moral bases in it on its own

accounting isn't political bent one way.. it depends on execution, blockchain offers transparency over old accounting methods but it's just a tool at the end of the day

that's what these people don't understand about myopically fixating on one current use case and saying it's just for more pointless speculation like much of our current economy

just because you don't understand how it could be used doesn't mean others won't find more use cases for it
