Pls let the local bottom be in and let’s run it back up

It's not, and it'll probably be a flat, bumpy road for a long long time and it might get catastrophic before then.

Anyway I'm happy I dipped out of this thread when it become 100% crypto talk.

Anyone buying anything in these conditions? I'm buying here and there on Berkshire and Intel.

    why Intel

Intel has good P/E or whatever but they’ve delayed every node shrink for almost a decade they fall further behind the curve everyday

Solana is no longer liquid for custodians

they had to disable withdrawals on all custodians Solana to fix one of its many issues, I'm sure there are OTC deals and people shorting on perps to hedge but it's interesting lol

    all that supply locked randomly

    Intel

    The f*** you doing dude

They're a solid company with new management, low P/E ratio, and they're making massive investments in manufacturing. Even if they don't hit all the targets I think they're capable of, they're still trading at a good price and will fill in some gaps in the supply chain, especially domestically.

Semi conductors are only going to become more entwined in everything we do.

They fell behind because they're management didn't care and got comfortable.

Intel seems like a boring pick and maybe it won't pan out, but I'm having a hard time seeing the downside with all the money they're putting into new plants, their government contracts, and the continuing need for semiconductors especially ones made on American soil.

I'd rather own NVidia or AMD or any of those types any day of the week

Only thing Intel has going for it is that it is a US government contractor that is strategically important and can't fail. Much like Boeing etc

Especially with TSMC being threatened by China

NVDA and AMD are both still really expensive.

There's a very good chance Intel could go on to be an unremarkable company moving forward, but they've got all the tools they need to be big player in one of the most important sectors in the world, and they're trading at a great price right now. Seems like a good long term play.

I have just lost faith in their word

there are already some rumors on Twitter they are going to miss the next node shrink in 2024

maybe I'll be proven wrong, you are right that if they can turn it around it could be a great pick they got the profits

I don't think we're anywhere close to the bottom. Just buying the few companies I see at good valuations at this moment that I want to hold for a long time. More than likely they'll continue to drop with the rest of the market, but maybe not.

Intel is a good value play, but has risk or wouldn’t be so cheap ofc

But a lot of Capex with new plants, so it’s not going to do much likely for a couple years

New CEO is great, had to make a change

    Nvidia lmfao

Some people here are learning their lesson the hard way
