I’m buying
Tell the story
Don't want to.
Js sad and embarrassed.
My sister said she was glad I lost my house. She apologized and tried playing it off but the closeness s*** is dead.
Alts went up, kept trading. Got locked out Coinbase when I tried to cash out because my ID didn't match. When they verified months later my gains were a little down.
Learned my lesson, wanted something "cleared by the gov" and got on Voyager with alts to grow and moved the mains to Ledger.
Voyager took me out with the "FDIC insured" lies.
All my alts, gone.
Mains are struggling, FTX's scam probably killed the rest of it for a minimum of 5 years.
Most of my gains were in alts. Mains were just something to deposit my checks in and take out as I want to trade, less than $30k at the peak. But I've been trading since I was 16. Never really understood it but I wasn't bad either. Years of saving, overtime, stress, everything. Gone.
I don't know the prices on anything but I know its not good.
Not celebrating Thanksgiving with anyone. Not sure about Christmas or NYE either.
I can't fake a smile. I don't want to hear more questions about my house. I wanted to set up my whole family with wealth, I can't look at them right now.
I'm just sad.

I'm so sorry man, are you in the thread's telegram here? You don't have to keep such a detailed post up if you don't want to, we're happy to talk in a more private setting
You shouldn't be alone coming into the holidays. You are right that your family should not look at you like that, it's sad
It sounds like you've had a long trading period, it's probably not the best advice but you'll make it back when you're ready
Resilience is already one of your greatest strengths

you still have all that experience and thats worth a lot
I was telling people to take profits near the tops last year, most laughed
So I got 2017 and 2021 bubbles right
Most on Ktt1 and Ktt2 didn’t take advantage
He's a genius just listen to him dude, ZERO reason to be buying
I told you tards last year to start selling
It’s ok, your lesson is being taught

I'm not a finance bro, so a lot of s*** you guys be talking/arguing flies over my head - I take it you don't want to buy more now because you think we're going lower? New ath's when then? And at what point do you start buying again in preparation of that? Even if you're just buying a bit each week/month surely for long term holding price atm doesn't matter too much?
Everyone real quiet now
Who could’ve foreseen this bubble would have burst again…
10-15k was always the fair target based off previous Btc bear markets
But now we have exchanges collapsing, fraud and likely a recession next year
Potential for lower, ZERO reason to be buying
Rather get clarity on the way up or fall more closer to 10k
yeah it definitely seems like a bigger dump is coming
I will be buying though not waiting for any clarity if the price moves down fast enough
I remember in June lots of people didn’t buy $888 ETH cause they were sure it was going to $400 but instead it ripped to $2k made a lot of money on ETH in a couple months
I will be deploying capital all the way down, especially if I see enough carnage like we saw in June where the price goes down 30-50% in days again
it will be interesting to see how low we go and what other centralized platforms file chapter 11 in the next 6 months
dont wanna lose barry but if he owns a smaller % of total mcap thatd be cool
yeah GBTC as a trust is kinda a mess anyways
I wonder how this will all go down tho
can Genesis just file chapter 11 or will DCG try and liquidate GBTC to sell their holdings closer to market value
also how liquid would BTC to take that selling hmm

Depending on certain circumstances with stock market, fed, unemplyoment, etc
I may also buy before clarity, but not with my whole position
200 day is at like 22k right now
So upside is like 35% away or so
Downside is?
Who knows what happens to crypto in an economic recession (very likely in 2023)
I could also see myself buying on another move down and flipping it on on a big pump and then buying back as it moves down/consolidates (but not a new low)
Donald is never wrong
No, I also make mistakes, but I do my best to learn and listen to those who give valuable info
And what really matters is the size/value of being right or wrong
Selling near tops and not buying all in during falling knife is important
breh just said there's zero reason to be buying just on the last page
Where did I say I would buy right now?

yeah that's true a recession is likely coming but I feel like the NASDAQ (which we've been following for a while now) puts in a bottom earlier than the economy
I don't think the Stock Market is an accurate 1 to 1 representation of the real economy if anything it leads
NASDAQ bottomed Nov 2008 and the S&P was March 2009
not saying we will bottom soon but I think there is a good chance we will likely bottom next year but who knows for certain we could drag this out till 2024
yeah if it looks very oversold in a hurry like past long squeezes I will buy tho regardless of possible downside or price targets

Stocks always have bottomed prior to the economy bottoming, usually 6-9 months prior
Been following Mike Wilson at Morgan Stanley basically the whole year
On 10/14 he called for a rally up to around 4100-4150 range (has lately said maybe a little overshoot even possible) and then make the low in the 1st half of next year around 3000-3300 as earnings come down
.618 Fib Retracement from Covid low to 2021 is high is like 3200 iirc. .50 was 3500 (where we bounced off).
10-3 month yield inversion is not good, has always signaled a recession

This rally has been massive though. The Dow is like .8% away fromt he August highs....if it breaks that, could mean the Dow has bottomed (but doesn't have to mean the same for SPX and NDX)
This year has had a lot of great trading opps, but I would really love a real washout with Vix going to 40+ and then some consolidation and then just go long
