i really just don't get people still parroting some narrative and s***ting on crypto when bitcoin is at 30 f***ing thousand dollars i mean bro just take a step back and get your head out of your ass
you don't have to "get it" either literally just put some money in and stfu but that seems too hard for people so everyone is all of a sudden an armchair investment advisor
so to anyone reading this if you get pushback from friends and family, or random people on the internet, just keep this s*** to yourself and laugh. you'll never get positive affirmation and only the negatives from this stupid ass crabs-in-a-bucket mentality, that make you question your own beliefs
F*** THE BANKS WE DON'T CARE WHAT THEY THINK ANYMORE
they hate us because they anus
Your reasoning regarding crypto is completely flawed
You might be right, I'm not well versed in crypto at all. But it does seem to me that it is a lot more random. I mean there is no tangible utility behind it.
Look I'm not trying to s*** on crypto, but it doesn't seem logical to think that it is more safe(long and short term) than equity markets.

When did I s*** on crypto. Lmao come on man. It is extremely high risk and high reward, I hope it pans out well for the people buying in at 35k, but don't act like it is some sound investment.

i'm not just specifying you but the general dismissive attitude still applies
you act like stocks at these levels aren't "extremely high risk" it's all the same scam bullshit fugazi markets now

I'll 100% agree on that. Buying into even AAPL after its doubled its market cap during a goddamn pandemic is pretty f***ing dumb.

Exactly
You need to do your macro homework
there's a reason the smart money "legendary investor" macro types have been buying BitCoins
MONEY PRINTING is the real issue and no gains in the stock market will make up for your losses due to inflation
Some even argue that all gains since 1970 have been nothing but inflationary - just look at the DOW vs real value
technology/innovation causes the deflation (see cathy wood / ARK)
money printing causes the inflation (US FED, ECB, BoJ owns 80% of public equities, Swiss National bank owns major AAPL)
buy real assests
$Uni doing well
Mega DeFI projects are all $10B+ market caps soon
LINK UNI YFI SNX AAVE at least

Been trying to tell my friends to start buying crypto for like a year and they are all dismissive. “It’s worthless, it’s not tangible, it’s fake money etc etc”
They’re going to be so jealous when I’m driving my lambo f***in pussies
@0 what’s your opinion on ADA

not a huge fan of charles or IOHK, look into their ICO and it's super sketchy
they're years behind schedule and he's an a******
smart contracts are supposed to come out this year so it will probably pump a lot if that does happen
i do hold some just in case it somehow does take ETH market share
but it's mostly all bullshit and i wouldn't trust that soyboy scammer with any significant capital until he removes himself from the project

i cut off contact with one of my two best childhood friends because i tried to help him out so much with crypto and investing, just for him to completely ignore it all and not put a single penny in for a year since the COVID dip. it was an extremely frustrating experience and honestly i just didn't have time anymore. he became offended that i didn't want to "manage his $5,000" and didn't understand that this is a two-way street that HE had to learn to invest and i was just guiding him
fast forward a few months to now.. and i wished him a happy holidays. his response was asking how to sell his 1 ETH i had given him in march to his coinbase wallet to get him started on his journey. this was at $700 last week or so. i was really insulted lol
I responded with a "never change man, why would you sell it now?" and left him on read after he messaged me a couple times afterwards asking "what i meant?" it's harsh but it's bullshit and the last and only time i'll try that
obviously there's a lot more history and back story but that's the gist of it and it's sad
I got XTZ OMG EOS ATOM ETH AAVE so far
ok now sell XTZ OMG EOS lol
Should I try to wait for a sub 1k dip to buy ETH?
if you honestly think it's going to dip a lot under $1,000 you should be shorting it
if you honestly think it's going to dip a lot under $1,000 you should be shorting it
This would be my first eth purchase

No reason to tell people who don't know much about investing about crypto
Worst case, market drops hard like 2017/2018 and they hate you.
Market may even have a normal pullback and they panic sell and hate you
Best case, you make them money and have to spend energy thinking about what they should do, and your reward is a "thanks man"
