I hear you. When it comes to crypto I have started to invest in eth and btc here and there over the last month or so. I’m considering it a long, long term hold and I’m not allocating a huge portion of my portfolio to it so I’m really not worried. I’ve just accepted the volatility. If it crashes like crazy I’ll continue to buy in when I feel comfortable.

We’ll see, I’m taking it week by week.

I’ll probably be wrong but I think the insane volatility has a good chance of slowing down now that it’s worth as a new store of value is being cemented, at least for btc. That would be a good thing for growth with less downside but at the end of the day I only have so much cash I’m comfortable putting into that space. I can’t worry about what might happen every day, money’s not the most important investment in life.

the volatility definitely does slow down the ETH pump in 2017-2018 is very similar to the bitcoin pump from 2014

I foresee BTC crashing and losing value but I doubt it ever goes under 30k and if it does it won't be for long

and yeah you definitely shouldn't invest money you can't spare to lose, nothing is a sure thing it could end tmrw

Around a couple years of dumping and then 1-2 years of slow rise and huge takeoff (short span). If covid didn't happen, don't think prices would have collapsed as hard as they did

What do you think is gonna have the bigger rally in this run? I sort of feel like eth is gonna explode once a price stabilized for btc.

I don’t invest more then I could lose and be okay, and that goes double for crypto. It’s 20% of my active investing portfolio and even that is a bit much for me.

yeah a stable BTC could moon ETH I agree, also when BTC crashes I think ETH is gonna peak.. I don't think it will happen quiet the same as it did in 2018 tho
