i appreciate your response. i figured it was money i was willing to lose when i bought them. i need to research them more to gain a better understanding.
i'd worry less about understanding options and their mechanics on pricing for now regarding this trade
you made a correct call in that AMC was going to experience the same run up, just understand that normally given this time frame you were extremely lucky
instead i would focus on looking into the price of AMC and what realistic price levels & resistance are for the stock tomorrow / next couple days.
that way you can have a gameplan and won't feel surprised or unprepared as to what can happen when the markets open, and you can make a more informed decision on when you want to sell your position and feel good about your decision
