Highest eFG% in a season, min 19 PPG:
68.3% — Wilt Chamberlain
64.6% — Michael Porter Jr
We’ve just seen the 2nd most efficient 19+ PPG season in NBA history.
Who we got winning it all atm bro?
It's difficult between health and flawed team construction
Utah doesn't have enough elite offensive creation in any one player and has already shown that switching is how you hurt them
Plus Mitchell coming back off an ankle injury he's been out a month with
Love Phoenix's team construction besides not having a backup C/that rising young guard to back up/transition into CP3's role but I don't think old man CP3 and current Booker (was hoping he'd boom into that next tier of player this year but he hasn't) to get them there. Hyped that Booker finally has his chance to be in the offs and hope he proves me wrong on some I have arrived ish.
Also Ayton has taken massive strides on defense but this playoffs stress test is about to be crazy between having to guard against AD/Jokic/teams that go 5 out esp since those Saric at C lineups fell off
Nuggets...Murray
Jokic incredible (really wanted to see him v Luka) and Portland will be light work but the Nuggets backcourt got no juice at all with all the injuries so their chance isn't there this year but these offs will still be incredibly important. Need MPJ to keep ascending with all the burn he's about to get and Jokic and MPJ to pass the defensive stress test they're gonna get hit with
Can't wait for more playoff Jokic no matter what though
Clippers...PG fraudulent in the playoffs until he proves otherwise (if it's something mental, I really hope he's been able to get help cause PG built for the modern NBA and young PG had some really good playoff moments) and it's about to be chemistry issues 2.0 because they've been missing different combinations of players all year... chances got a big boost being on the other side of the bracket than the Lakers
Lakers...I'm worried Bron's ankle might be cooked for the rest of the year (on some Curry after the knee injury in 2016 ish) and limit him as the playoffs wear on + no extra week off + no home court from the jump
Philly...no elite perimeter creation and I haven't seen Embiid be dominant on offense in the playoffs yet and as good as this team has been it's not like he's been paired with absolutely elite shooting with this team, got the easiest road to the ECF though so I think they'll make it there at least and then anything can happen
Nets...KD played less than half the season, Kyrie always an injury risk and Harden finally showing some wear after all these years
I think this is the team that can break the top ten O&D rule for champions but man this team fragile 😬😬😬😬
Bucks...it's been good that they've been trying switching all season instead of Bud just slopping up system bs nonstop but they haven't mastered it yet and are still vulnerable to mistakes...Giannis and Tucker could be deadly asf on defense though
Playoff Bud until further notice
Got a gauntlet from the jump - Miami, Nets, Philly and whoever makes it out the West
Giannis...usual stuff about varying up his creation for himself and others, shooting/FTs, being able to be dominant on defense outside of his help/backline role and clamp up perimeter stars when needed
Depth questionable...what happens if Donte cracking
Damn, I gotta think on this, hard asf to pick this year...think my top 5 pool would be the LA teams and the top 3 out the east but man...
@Vox good breakdown
Agree with the final 5 teams you got
Think it’s the safest bet tbh
At full strength currently you’d probably bet on Nets Lakers
But like you said injuries a factor
Also seems like a lot of teams like Bucks, Clippers, Utah, Suns that could potentially be legit gotta prove themselves in the playoffs before people take them seriously. Clippers less so since they got Kawhi

Preciate it
Why you don't got playoffs thread anymore
