Instead of vicariously living through news they should be focused on their own situations but they get tricked into a cycle of learned helplessness and anxiety about what the future holds
It's a run before you can walk mentality from so many young people. Maybe worry about yourself before caring about the country that put you in the mess in the first place
It's not even like the democrats are angels fighting for peoples rights anyway. They're a lesser of 2 evils

I just think the dems need more than anything someone who’s not system
They don’t need to be as progressive as Bernie but healthcare is the bar and they can’t be a cookie cutter senator candidate
Trump gets so much support because literally everyone f***ing hates the political system
And there's the rub, no sane altruistic person would ever subject themselves to the scrutiny of a presidential run
You only get insane egoists like Kanye West or donald trump

like gtfoh lol. i can see a small or middle spike because of new voters/pandemic so they voted by mail etc.

He’s not bernie but he’s pretty f***ing populist and has a record of railing against wall st. He regularly wins statewide in ohio where dems dont

I just think it's complicated.t I's not as simple as, Biden's a centrist and that didn't work so -> need a democratic socialist to beat Trump. Or even the other way around. I think a lot of factors played into why Biden struggled and that Biden's policies being too moderate isn't high on that list
