I recognize libs are closer to progressive ideals but they're notoriously centrist and are about to throw progressives under the bus for mitch. progressives need to do something to show their power and be taken seriously and I'd be happy to vote for a progressive next election instead of a dem who's marginally more progressive than a republican

The federal govt literally reallocates money every year for departments, are they towards abolition for those departments? Most of these police departments are buying military grade equipt which they don't need under their mandate, giving guidance for proper use of funding in underserved sections is not abolition.
