People asking what happened to the 300K well equipped, US trained Afghan military?!? Mf who do you think the taliban are and where do you think they came from
Them boys just changed clothes when US left
Bump
america f***ed over a country for 20 years and then left and said its not in their national interest to care anymore
how are we supposed to not hate that country lmao
it's not only america who is at fault though..
do you think this will cost biden the 2024 election
Why would it? This is a good thing. Was it an poorly planned s***show? Absolutely. But America needed to get out. The MIL held Bush, Obama and Trump all by the balls, it’s a good thing Joe finally stepped up.
There was never going to be a way out of Afghanistan without the Taliban taking over. US intelligence knew this for years and continuously lied to the public up until a few weeks ago.
But It’s funny seeing conservatives so caught up in team politics trying to attack Biden for this lol

The Afghan government is extremely corrupt. Billions of US taxpayer money funneled straight into their Dubai bank accounts. All spent their entire terms lying to their people and then left them to dry. It’s no surprise nobody wants to fight for them.
America still deserves the most blame though
isn't this what the majority of Americans wanted?
I dont think they wanted the image of the Taliban taking over at least when they were told that wasn't going to happen. So yeah, this is a huge blunder in the eyes of Americans

especially considering trump was claiming he wanted the same thing lol.
its good when their guy does it but bad when the other guy does it in their eyes.
i agree that its a good thing overall but i can't help but imagine that some people who have lost loved ones in the war feel angered and might sway them but idk.
isn't this what the majority of Americans wanted?
yeah they want it but if something bad becomes from this then opinions will change. GWB once had the highest approval rating ever for a president in 2001.
this has really got me down, my good friend is hazara and she's feeling hopeless rn. Sad sad times
Taliban are the biggest pedophiles out there. A lot of their supporters too are pedophile, same in Iran, i got a feeling that a lot these f***ing regimme supporters are lowkey pedophiles who are afraid a change in system gonna bring laws that would ban religious pedophilia
Yikes man. I hope things turn better for the future
how NAIVE to believe foreign intervention is done out of good faith/human rights
I mean biden basically said that it wasnt last night lmao
Yikes man. I hope things turn better for the future
Thanks man. Don't have much hope though. Under The Guardianship of the Islamic Jurist it is unlikely.

I should have specified those refugees kinda being white-hispanics so it's fine. Then add cubans willing to assimilate and support U.S. culture.
Wait what that was fine because they were white?

ofcourse america should get out i agree with that but the way they are going about it now and have been for a while now is absolutely disgusting and america / biden deserves all the hate hes getting and more

1. It wasnt poorly planned if it was the plan all along. It was well played
2. USA was only in Afghanistam to steal they put US western lobbyist elects in charge in Afghan government. Thats why no major s*** got done in 20 years.
3. If you follow Afghan news in recent years you will see that a number of afghan generals, high level commanders have been killed in recent years. Either assasinated or in action. They were all targets. They took the good people who cared out first to be able to pull this s*** off. Taliban is bidens choice because if you put idiots in charge it is easier to steal.
4. Taliban was avoidable. In the past 20 years there were many instances, uprisings in iran that could have resulted in regimme change but certain individuals made certain deals. Getting rid of the Guardianship of the Islamic Jurist principle in Iran is like nippin the bud. Cuts the funding to militias that cause chaos like this. But again fixing a problem they themselves caused was never USA's intention.
I was a kid at the time, never looked back on this era politically so I do not know much on the matter, but does this mean the bush administration was kinda right?
I mean it’s pretty wild that they were literally waiting for the moment we pull all the troops out, I thought we were over there doing nothing
At least that was the perception, that we need to get the troops out because we aren’t doing anything/they don’t need to be there

F*** the bush administration i hope d*** cheney dies slow f***ing piece of s***.

Thats confirmed
The world isnt the US playground
If the afghans want that taliban stuff it's their fault
talking bout the afghans want that taliban stuff like there aren't people killing themselves to leave because the taliban are forcing control on them
He deserves a majority of the blame.
really after 7 months in power you gonna put 20 years of f*** s*** on him
really after 7 months in power you gonna put 20 years of f*** s*** on him
He contributed to the 20 years of f***ups. Im not even talking about the taliban takeover when i place blame. I'm talking about the U.S. looking like losers here
do you think this will cost biden the 2024 election
american caring about the outcome of other countries for more than 2 weeks is laughable.
but he said he wasn't going to run for re-election
