Ezel is a wonderful turkish show (the only one i've truly watched), Modern day adaptation of The Count of Monte Cristo by Dumas.
Unfortunately it has too much filler because the production company wanted 90 minute episodes (market demands, I guess), but if you could see past that it's a great show. It was on Netflix briefly, I think.

Misfits one of the first shows I got into 🤗 was glad to see 'Curtis' in that. I'm watching Utopia slowly because of how short it is lol.
@HYPE i think id like to watch Skam or Top Boy after Utopia
Top Boy starts out as a low budget show into a full fledged crime drama.
SKAM is just great. no complaints there.
assuming u already seen Skins & Inbetweeners since they are staples
SKAM was kinda eeeh for me. i can see the appeal though. Season 3 was cool and 2 good

theres some wiggle room with the last season. but the first 3 is perfect
@HYPE yea seen those :yousmart: also the Inbetweeners films. Wasn't interested in trying the US version though.
Skins was great, one of my fav shows no doubt, didn't finish season 6 lol s*** got weird for me. Wasn't ready for the switch in characters too tbh

is Derry Girls perfect for those Fleabag withdrawals?
I thought Derry Girls was good but I couldn't stand Fleabag.
Derry Girls is definitely only interesting because of its setting aside from that it is't particularly groundbreaking but rather fairly standard. Sadly they don't actually deal with the subject as much as they possibly could.
Also if you hate overacting get ready to rip your hair out.
Still: doesn't have long episodes, only has a couple of episodes out and I don't think there's any "stick with it until episode xyz cause it only gets good right about then." I think the quality is fairly constant all throughout so just check 1-2 of the first episodes and see if you like it.
If you don't you're not exactly missing out on a tv sensation.
Again: F*** Fleabag.
"fuck Fleabag" lmao sit down @Mo
can't be bothered to give a s*** about obnoxious rich people as written by an utterly privileged person who seems to have no grasp on that privilege.
