working in an IT team with 50 people vs 4 is so much different
it's going to be interesting, in some ways it's better I'm not expected to do everything but in other ways there are so many more siloing of roles which makes sense for security reasons but it all makes it so there are a lot more office politics
I suggest something and like 5 people are on board but a whole team is like nah that's not allowed and then it's like now I have get executives involved to overrule people cause they don't understand why what they're asking us to do is totally stupid and unworkable

in my case security is the one road block and i get it’s a bank but like we can’t use the approved windows 2022 image for every last system we build gotta add linux containers into the mix
