Don't think you ever said. What's your fav "officially released" mainly Dilla produced album?

I feel like all the diggers of his music I know stan Vol1 but I never got into it as much as 2 tbh

vol1 defo has that underground appeal that I could see some folk being attracted to more than the polished and I'd say generally better vol2. I'm not sure which is my favorite besides Donuts, vol2 and Welcome 2 Detroit spring to mind but I don't think I could pick one over the other. It's a really tough decision, projects have different ratios of good-tracks:classics, some more cohesive and enjoyable to play right through etc.. and I know that's the case with like every other artist or band but I think it's even more so with Dilla, his catalog is a mess
