his best since tcia doesn't even tell half of it.I knew I'd be cool with a back to my roots album, but more than a handful of songs on here are on par if not better than everything pre-2016. so many bone-chilling moments. the one-two punch of fire the editor - hear me is one of the strongest of his career.
I love how unfinished, rough around the edges this feels. the title track as the outdo is so unsettling but I've been yearning for James to self-restrain with executive decisions like that for so long, and he made the right move with this.
The music finally sounds like him again. Simply put, I could not be happier
. His knack for key changes and song structure is the best it's been. I'm so excited for this new era and can't wait to see how he moves forward from here. I think it's time for him to go indie and just drop whenever.

i want you to know was a pleasant surprise. he never leaned to that burial esque stuff even when he was making dubstep/garage etc

prob. that lowkey happened with skrillexโs leaving ep but he was too much of a powerhouse by then
he's been wonderful has such a trippy production
Really loved how strong of a lyricist/songwriter he became with assume form and especially friends that break your heart. But this is also a nice change of pace. Also glad he kept this short 11 tracks.
