anyone have a comp or at least a list of all the stuff he did before his debut album he had tons out like deeds four miles harmonimix etc
I couldn’t find a list sadly, but I’m sure most, if not all, of the old unreleased tracks that were uploaded to YouTube back in the day are still accessible on YouTube today. You just gotta keep digging

12 years on and he still hasn’t topped this choon
"someone light up these dark places"
I’m just kidding btw lol
So excited to see this s*** live
me too dude! going to the NYC show on Oct 6th!
any idea what this is gonna be like? Is it just gonna be JB dj’ing a set and sprinkling in some of his music
is it only gonna play Robot’s?
this my first non-rap show so i’m like lost
dad if you can hear me…
something so ghostly and distant and tragic about that whole song
like if a regretful adult was calling out to their parents from a lonely island of solitude knowing 99% certain that your dad can’t hear you… that time has passed and you know it deep down
Non biased fans
Is this worth listening to? Haven’t really enjoyed him post 2016 excluding a few songs on Assume Form
Big fan of his 2011-2013 work
It’s a 40 minute commitment, don’t think it’s really worth trusting anyone’s opinion but yourself. Give it a spin and see how you feel

It’s gonna be a live show with a bunch of instruments/gear onstage. And of course James will be singing live.
The setlist will naturally consist of PRIH material and older danceable tracks of his probably, and also some crowd favourites like Retrograde and Limit to Your Love possibly.
Good album I enjoyed it
While there are good songs here, I think songs like Big Hammer are painfully derivative, just sounds like a worse version of Glowed Up by Kaytranada

lol I’m the day prior
Almost certain he’ll be singing it’s marketed as a show rather than CMYK thing which are his DJ sets
You never really know until an artist starts playing shows but there’s an official playlist on Apple Music of what seems to be the set list or at least the general set list - u can search it but basically a hits heavy mix of everything CMYK onwards
Plus I’m sure pretty much every song on robots

Sounded insane when I read the part about glowed up but listening to both I definitely do hear the resemblance
That being said I think they’re trying to do fairly different things sonically like cold vs warm

Maybe I'm being a little too harsh on the song, there are parts I like when the synths get all "west coast synthesis" sounding
Reminds me of Sweepstakes by Gorillaz in little parts

Yea I just like the way it sounds honestly but it’s one of the weaker songs on here imo

i don’t mind ripping off youtube i’m just lazy to do all that digging rn

Oh dude this is gonna open up an entire new world if you've only been to rap shows
My dream PRIH tracklist:
Changes are in bold.
1. I replaced Loading with Depend on You.
2. Switched Tell Me with Big Hammer
3. Added Let Her Know between Fall Back and He’s Been Wonderful
Album easily would’ve been a 9/10
(it’s still a 8.5/10 as it stands though.)

Cutting loading is nuts

Never liked Loading honestly
But the majority seem to like it and that’s what I love to see for James.
Depend on You definitely should’ve been on the album though
I really enjoy this. I haven’t enjoyed a project of his since Assume Form but this one is special
