Restaurants adding gratuity to their tickets is ridiculous. 25% at that

Only thing I don’t like is paying tip for pick up

I don’t disagree but it can be hard to tell sometimes if someone genuinely needs it or if they’re exploiting a system.

and you should afford that person the benefit of the doubt, fr

what if it's been 3 months since a family member has passed and it's their birthday or something and you're really going through it?

is that enough of an emergency for you?

    I would say no

Like going through it to the point that it's a legitimate crisis and are like uncontrollable and unable to work

Or you just feel really bad ?

That’s a greater issue in America that nobody cares to actually address when it comes to paying restaurant staff so until that day we actually pay employees higher wages Tipping gonna be a thing

Depends. If someone calls out once or twice, ok. If it’s the same MF calling out 3 times a month , nah

  • Apr 22, 2023

Working at a place where it got so toxic and busy that people would just call out regularly >>>

  • Apr 22, 2023

But tbh to play the devils advocate

Just don't care and treat your employer poorly if you can get away with it and you aren't screwing anyone over you would consider a legitimate friend
