Hmm, come to think of it, has there been any Jazz VZ? Might be down to represent Cannonball Adderley or Coltrane
Why would you want to see Albert Ayler losing to Kanye West featuring Kenny G with the argument that it was "an iconic moment"?
We used to have a laugh about this, that or the other, in a light-hearted way, and some intellectual would read us, some symbolic youth generation wants to see something in it. We also took seriously some parts of the role, but I don’t know what Helter Skelter has to do with knifing someone. I’ve never listened to it properly, it was just a noise.
-John Lennon to Rolling Stone, 1970
calling it “just a noise” is some boss s*** lol, what a guy
helter skelter

such a odd fella
what an interesting 1st listen.. not much really stood out, let’s see how the 2nd listen goes
I think Paul wanted a song like “Happy Birthday Baby,” the old ’50s hit. … It was a piece of garbage.

save me’s ABRIDGED review of the white album side 3

uhhh yeah so umm.. not sure what exactly 2 say here, but i will say there wasn’t 1 of those obnoxiously over the top tunes, that’s if u don’t count helter skelter that is, i quite enjoy helter skelter but maybe that’s because i’ve heard it dozens of times b4.. who knows, but in my book they finally broke the streak
this was alright tho, i just found myself getting bored as f***, it is side 3 & the 1st 2 sides were pretty good so i can 4give them 4 falling in2 a bit of a rough patch. oh & i can finally identity who’s singing on a track without having 2 look it up, i’m very happy about that.
top 3 fav songs
yer blues - far & above the best song on side 3, i see why people say this album has some of their best songs cuz
john doing blues >>>> 9/10
long, long, long - having a hard time picking 2 other favs but since i enjoyed this song it will go on the list.. it’s very cathartic & i hope it helped george on his journey
7/10
sexy sadie - gonna need 2 check out the original version of this, i love how john seemed 2 be the outspoken 1 of the group, he didn’t take no f*** s*** & i respect & resonate with that a whole lot
7/10
least fav song
birthday - i don’t hate this song by any means but if i never heard it again in my life i wouldn’t be sad, it’s a cool lil rock tune but they have much much much better in their earlier discography, definitely were chasing a hit with that 1
overall score 6.5/10
opinions are subject 2 change

2mrw we will be showing the widely anticipated save me finishes reviewing the beatles white album
be sure 2 tune in folks, we’re almost done
Am I the only one that thinks the Rolling Stones can go toe to toe with the Beatles? My in laws think I'm delirious.

Trust me, I know. I was the one making sure you got into the Beatles and have been following your journey, proudly.
I just think they're underestimating them and it's funny because they also grew up with both. So I don't understand why they're making it seem like the Beatles are leagues above the Stones. I know they didn't forget all them hits but maybe they're talking impact wise.

@Uhhhhhh I'm questioning this VZ.
His run in the 60's was legendary, especially ending it with a double album masterpiece, similar to Stevie.
However, Blood on the Tracks is his best album, because the music finally matched the greatness of his words and it's always been lopsided.
