@Extraterrestrial after the hype has died down a bit, at least for me personally anyway.. i'm giving that jack harlow a 7/10 overall

i have some issues with it that i didn't really take into account on the first listens, mostly being gang gang gang and how he decided to rap over that beautiful beat about some corny s***.. it really is corny although it does remind me of some early 2000's story telling s*** just executed sooooo poorly

also common ground could have been fleshed out more, it's just a bit too surface level for my liking but his flow and the production make up for the lack of content

denver is probably gonna end up being my most played song of the year along with search & rescue haha, but besides those few issues i think it's a solid project and hopefully a glimpse into him taking himself a little more seriously, the transformation has begun

That’s the only song I don’t really enjoy though. In fact, the album only got better for me since first listen. I probably land around where you are 7-7.5/10. It turned me from being a Jack Harlow hater to thinking “wait, there’s something here.”

It Can’t Be is also kind of awkward tbh, I mean it’s basically a “white privilege doesn’t exist” vibe which I’m not sure was a good choice for him tbh
