Dude has written alot of goofy songs but every now and then he writes one thats just breathtaking

Nah they never hated each other. They were burnt out from writing 2 albums worth of songs during The White Album and Paul thought the issue was they weren't together enough as a band when the real issue was they were together too much as humans.

Doing a whole new album 2 months after The White Album + their first live concert in 3 years was too much for a band already in a vulnerable state.

They got their s*** together for Abbey Road but I suspect deep down they all knew it would be their last album recorded together and they wanted to go out with a bang. Except maybe Paul, who was in denial.
